About Dr. Naomi L. Friedberg

Dr. Naomi L. Friedberg is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and has called Lafayette home for the past 30 years. 

She has been in private practice since 1996, providing individual psychotherapy and psychological evaluation to adolescents, adults and the elderly, with a special interest in anxiety disorders.

In her private practice in Lafayette, Dr. Friedberg provides assessment, diagnosis and psychotherapeutic treatment for a variety of mental health conditions and life-adjustment problems across the life-span.

She attended Louisiana State University for her undergraduate psychology degree, and completed her doctoral Ph.D. at the University of Southern Mississippi with a specialization in counseling psychology.

I am a private-pay practice and do not participate with insurance plans. Choosing not to contract with insurance allows me to provide highly individualized care based on your clinical needs rather than insurance requirements or session limitations. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
